Dr. David W. Bracken is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist who brings over 45 years of professional experience in organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and evidence-based personnel practices. After three decades as a practitioner and consultant, Dr. Bracken turned his focus toward academia and the development of the next generation of I/O Psychology professionals.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Bracken has provided consulting services across public and private sectors. He is widely recognized for his thought leadership in 360-degree feedback, particularly in its application to human resource decision-making processes, including performance management, leadership development, high-potential development, and succession planning. His expertise spans organizational culture, survey systems, change management, coaching, and competency modeling.

Before entering academia, Dr. Bracken held leadership roles at Xerox Corporation, Wilson Learning, and BellSouth, managing teams of organizational psychologists. He later served as a consultant with leading firms such as National Computer Systems, Personnel Decisions International, Towers Perrin, Mercer Delta, Kenexa, and OrgVitality.

Dr. Bracken is a published author and editor of The Handbook of Multisource Feedback (Jossey-Bass) and The Handbook of Strategic 360-Degree Feedback (Oxford University Press), each a foundational resource in the field.

Dr. Bracken has chaired over 30 dissertations during his eight years at Keiser University, currently serving as Adjunct Professor of Psychology.

Dr. Bracken holds a BA from Dartmouth College and MS and PhD degrees in IO Psychology from Georgia Tech. He is a certified professional coach and a Fellow of both the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Association for Psychological Science.
